It is sad how messages of love and selflessness gets mixed up with politics, religion, economics and philosophy . Existence of books like The Message pushes people to be more grounded in love and this is what humanity needs.

Thank you for an insightful review. I appreciate a well-written and well-researched book like this one. The debates on whether there's an afterlife, belief in God, and miracles are as old as time, and I would love to read what the author has presented in this book. Leah's story is sure to be captivating.

An accident leaves Leah in coma with fractures. Miraculously, she comes out of coma and her fractures are healed. She spreads a message of love for God without any religious affiliation and ends in trouble from people of all spheres.

Very mysterious description, but at the same time quite promising, because I like sophisticated genres with complicated plots and non-cardboard characters. I read a lot of stories regarding experiences of people in comas or so-called near-death occurrences, and it is a mystery to know if it's just the mind playing tricks or if they were able to reach beyond our plane of existence. Congratulations on BOTD!

Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review! What stood out to me most was your mention of how The Message? avoids pushing a specific religious or political agenda, instead encouraging readers to think for themselves about faith, love, and society. Leah’s experience with God and her simple yet profound message seem like a powerful foundation for a story that explores deep issues without becoming preachy. I also appreciated your insight on Dr. Marcus—he sounds like a great bridge between faith and science, which is rare and refreshing in fiction. I’m definitely intrigued by the way the book blends philosophical, economic, and religious themes while staying grounded in character-driven storytelling.

I really appreciate your detailed assessment of this book. Certain things caught my attention: Leah's accident and subsequent coma, her claims of meeting God and receiving a message from him, and then the character Dr. Marcus. It is also interesting to know the author carried out due research before writing this story.

"The Message?" by Avam Hale is Hale’s debut novel and it is a thinking thriller about change and choice and it was written to entertain and challenge readers. The main character is Leah, a widower with two children that was is in a terrible accident and is in a coma in the hospital. One day she wakes up with her external bruises almost healed, her internal fractures are almost mended and there is no sign of brain trauma. She tells people she has been with God while she was in the coma and God told her that he loves all people unconditionally and he wants people to love one another. What develops from her message to mankind makes one think of religious, political and economic ideas. As expected, there are believers and people that feel she made up the story. It made me think of the appearances of Mary, mother of Jesus, in France, Mexico and the U.S. with a message of peace and love. Being a Catholic I believe in these miracles and this book is just another tool to reinforce my beliefs. Non-believers will not accept Jesus even when he returns on judgement day. I wonder what politicians would say about her time with God? Since most politicians do not have a backbone, I would expect they would dispute whatever she says. From an economic perspective I can imagine the world would function as one world-wide market with all countries helping one another. This is an amazing book and I am looking forward to reading the entire book.

The Message?" by Avam Hale sounds powerful and I’m curious to see how Leah’s words shake the world after she wakes up from coma with a message from God.
