OK, the next riddle is going to be about a fish ... just kidding ... :liar: ... :D

New Riddle:

1) I contain perhaps the most important "Eye", "Ay!", or "I" of your life.
2) In theory I can only occur once.
3) Crowds often appear to witness me.
4) My successful appearance may result in great feasting - my absence; in grief, desolation and despair.

What am I?
