The Time Traveler's Boyfriend is an excellent novel beautifully written by Annabelle Costa. She definitely wove her characters love and patience during the time traveling in a way that had me crying and laughing. Claudia, the time traveler, goes back in time using her boyfriend's time machine. The whole book is a twist of fate that will leave you surprised at the ending. I highly recommend reading this incredible tale from beginning to end! I loved reading this story. the emotions from Claudia, became my very own. Claudia's boyfriend is stuck being in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. She travels back in time to keep him from getting his heart broken by a bitch. What Claudia doesn't know is that the "bitch" was her. It takes almost all the way until the vey end before she realizes that fact. So, after going back in time and having come back to the present time, what happens to Claudia and her boyfriend? Claudia wants him to commit to marriage. Will he propose to her in the end or will Claudia end up losing him both in the past and present?
Annabelle Costa definitely knows how to write an inspiring and exciting romance. Her characters are funny, sweet, and readers will have no trouble falling in love with them. The novel is so realistic. It's hard not to connect with the characters and their story. Those who have read and or seen the movie, The Fault in Our Stars, then you have to pick up this book to read! The Time Traveler's Boyfriend is indeed the best romance time travel novel in its genre!
