Has to be within a day.... I'm not sure on the precise hours because I've never said hey let me time how long it takes to finish this book! lol. If I knew a book was going to be epic only then would I time it because I know I would finish it quickly... but with books you pick up you never know if you will enjoy it or not

My all time record is one day. Of course that was set when I was in the seventh grade reading Nancy Drew...other than that I can finish a book pretty quickly as long as I have time. I finished the Fault in Our Stars in three days.

A few hours but that is if nothing distracts and I have all the time in the world. That happens rarely :)

Depending on the book and situations in life :) Have been known to just sit and read the book from start to finish all in one sitting though :) If time allows and the book is good, why not? LOL

It depends on the book and the page count, I suppose. For example, I can finish three of the Percy Jackson books in about five or six hours, but this is because they are action based children's books and I don't need the time to think them through.

I read The Confessions of a Video Vixen in one day. I just could not put it down. I did not even realize I was finishing it so quickly.

If I get time and the book is really interesting, I finish reading by the end of the day in one sitting - I did this when the Harry Potter books come out.

For me, I would have to say the shortest time spent reading a book to completion was about 2 hours as a tween. As an adult the shortest time spent is about 4 hours to read a book.
