I earned a second degree in college because someone told me I could never do it at the orientation for another school. Now, I teach Russian. It may have taken me years to master, but I am proud of it. Oh, and I can twirl a flag. I sound like such a geek. I drive a Mini Cooper S and collect gargoyles

I love mini's!!! I've always wanted one but realized that they aren't very good in the snow.

I'm envious of those who drive beetles. I'm driving a station wagon (sob, sniff).

It is better than a mustang. I took mine through feet of snow this year. Never balked once! Iowa sucks in the winter!

My dad made killer chili for when my hubby gets home. He was at Shiloh for a civil war reenactment. Ugh. No toilet paper. Gross!

Ooh I love chilli! I can't wait to get to the US and eat REAL chilli again. I learnt from a Canadian. Aussies don't eat it really.

He has had three big glasses of OJ so far. He says he is drinking one more before he sleeps. The man should have a fairly good immune system.
