REVIEW: The Lux Series(spoiler-free)

Post by rcs17 »

Katy is a girl who gets lost in her books. The alternate reality of her books is captivating to her, hut she knows they're not real...right?
When she and her mom move to West Virginia from Florida, she knows it's going to be different. How different? Try moving in next to a bubbly, charismatic girl and her infuriatingly sexy older brother.
What Katy discovers about Daemon and Dee Black not only shocks her, but makes her rethink what the world really is.

The Lux series is fast-paced and packed with twists and turns. With gorgeous boys and an intriguing plot line, Jennifer L. Armentrout pushes readers into the world of Daemon and Katy.

I just finished the first two books from the series and I must say it was realll good. I really enjoyed the story.
When you think of aliens the first thing that would pop into your mind is big eyes, green body, ear sticking out, etc. But in this book who thought they could be smoking hot. Other than that the story line is good as well. I enjoyed how the author showed the bond that can be formed between people and how hard it can be to hold on to it.

I would recommend people to read it.

I just finished the first three books in four days, finding myself unable to stop after starting on the first. While a few things about the book made me raise an eyebrow or roll my eyes, for the most part it was well written with a good plot. The characters are all well fleshed out and three dimensional, the bad guys aren't 100% bad and the good ones have their own dark side. It opens the reader's eyes to both sides of the conflict, which I haven't seen in many book recently. I would definitely recommend the series to anyone who enjoys books that make you think about your own morals on top of having a wonderful romance and plenty of surprises. Can't wait to get started on the fourth!

I love this series. I'm currently waiting for the last book to come into my library :P I haven't read many fantasy books about aliens and I was kind of skeptical to read this series at first but once I started I didn't wanna put it down. I love every way this author describes the characters and the fight scenes. AND the love scenes :)

Finished all of the books by now and the series was alright, not the best but still really good.
It completely changed my view on Aliens and I loved it.

This series is on of my favorites. Katy and Daemon's banter is hilarious. You'll fall in love with their love hate relationship. Also you have to love Katy and daemons sassiness. It's a well-written story and has a great author with this series and others.
