I read something on my kindle – if the battery runs out – I turn to my paperback which I always keep handy - - - it can take months to finish that paperback – but I always pick right up where I left off without a problem - - - - I don’t think I could read several books at once – I couldn’t keep it all straight - one is enough for me - but I must have one book on the go.

2 at the most, try to keep focused by making sure they are different genres.

I usually only read one at a time, though at one point I was reading 2-3 at a time (and struggled to get through them all). I can't focus on more than one at a time, really.

Not including textbooks/other books for school, usually just one.

I reguarly read both a fiction and a non fiction book. I might also be working through a book for work as well. It is like TV programs you simply switch bewtween them. However when I am really enjoying a book I will focus on that.

I usually read more than one book at a time. I find myself in different moods at different times of the day or different mood on different days and one book doesn't seem to suffice each and every mood. I mostly pick a book based on my mood so at a time I am reading at least 3 to 4 different kinds of books, different genres.

I often read multiple books at once because I'm often thinking of several different topics at once, and working on several projects at once. I've even gotten to the point of having a book in each room so I can read anywhere at any time.

I used to only read 1 book at a time, but then had too much required reading for school so I started reading 3 or 4 books at once. It was really confusing and I didn't like it. Nowadays I read 2 books at the most at the same time - but one is always a fiction, while the other non-fiction. This way I don't get confused and there's enough variety for me not to get bored of the non-fiction book.

I never read more than one.
If it can not hold my attention I drop it and move on to the next.

Depends I normally may have started 2-4 but focus on one in particular until done. I'm trying to develop the 1 and 1 habit of reading one fiction and one educational non fiction book.

I tend to read 2 books at one, but no more than that.

I usually read 2-3 fiction books and 2 non-fiction books at a time. If one of the fiction books is interesting enough I will finish that one first. Most times the non-fiction books are research for a project.
