JK Rowling of course!
But I'm in the middle of The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, and I've got to say she is capturing my attention and my heart with her writing skills!

Stephen King heads the list for me, but I have favorite authors in different genres, for instance, Heather Graham, Richard Laymon, Bentley Little, and Lisa Jackson as well as Anne Rule to mention just a few.

Hmm. My favorite authors are Tamora Pierce, J.K. Rowling, and - recently, Neil Gaiman. I fell in love with Gaiman's The Graveyard Book. I kept thinking, 'what if it happened in real life?' Hehehe.

Recently I discovered an author by the name of Jennifer Hillier. After two of her books I am completely obsessed and she only has a total of three books :(. I have a feeling I will be checking the internet every week in anticipation of her next book release.

That's very difficult, but let's see...

I'm afraid it has to be at least a top 4...
