I read this book and loved it. Augustus Waters now holds the top spot as my favorite literary character, previously held by Boo Radley. I'm not certain how John Green made the book about the love story first and foremost, as opposed to the illness, but that's what really resonated with me. The story could be really devastating, is really devastating, but it is also heartfelt and genuine. I honestly wish that I hadn't read it just so I could read it all over again.
