Which games you used to play when you were a kid?

I loved to play Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Connect Four, Uno, Tetris, Pac-Man, Bop-It, Operation, Monopoly, Life and a few others when I had people to play with.

I dont think I was ever a kid. Cant remember that far back.

Candy land, wow, brings me back! anyone remember " Twister ?"...

I USED TO LOVE CLUE...also loved the painting books that only required a brush and water, like magic a colored object appeared w/only an application of water....

I remember the Twister ads on TV, but never played it. It probably would have been fun with a female partner. Nuff said.

We used to play made-up games, most were silly but fun. Like jumping over stuff, who didnt get busted up was the winner.

I remember racing another kid down a hill, he jumped over a pile of brush and I jumped but landed in the pile, right into a hornets nest. I think I broke some speed records that day.

our big deal was having a tea party, w/fake mini cups, and tiny table and chairs...

I guess little girls still do that.

We did a lot of crazy things like that. Remember the movie Stand By Me where those kids went across a railroad trestle and a train was coming? That happened to me and a couple other kids altho not as close as that. We were walking across a trestle over the Snake River when a train was coming. We made it across in plenty of time but it was still kind of scary.

Some of the things we did when we were kids scare the hell out of me now.riding bikes with no brakes, swimming in a slu where raw sewage was dumped, getting in rock fights, stuff like that. Scary nowdays, but then it was normal.

I think it' still normal (except for swimming near raw sewage EWWWWWW). I did all those things too. We never though anything of it. Kids need to be kids. Parents tend to be way overprotective these days.
