Soul Screamers/Rachel Vincent

Post by torchwilde »

This is a wonderful series about a girl who finds out she is a banshee. The first book had me hooked, as a novela My Soul to lose. The books in order are:

My Soul to Lose
My Soul to Take
My Soul to Keep
My Soul to Save
Reaper
My Soul to Steal
If I Die
Never to Sleep
With All My Soul

It was very well rounded and the characters were lively, even the undead ones.

Sorry, this post is a little late! I am new here, and I typed in Rachel Vincent to see if anyone else loved her Soul Screamer books. I was instantly hooked. I will probably re-read this series again someday. It's so fun, with Banshees, Reapers, demons, Nightmares... I'm probably forgetting some more paranormal creatures.

I started with "If I die." So vastly out of order and even though I was desperately confused I got rather hooked. I went out the next day and bought the rest of the books including the novellas and avidly read them. I loved how she wrote the characters and she gave me a lot more insight into the mythology of Bean Sidhe's and taught me of Fae creatures I had never even heard of.
