More than a few haha- Between my blog, book club, and the books I'm reading personally; they stack up fast!

Most often two, but sometimes I'll read three or four at the same time. If I really like a book I'll stop reading the others and just read that one.

I read multiple at a time, sometimes up to five or six. I've never confused story lines, simply because when I open the covers of a book I know it's that specific book, none other.

I often read two or three books at a time, and have been known to read eight, but that was exceptional. I find that one of them usually gets most of my attention, though. I'm reading five at the moment, though I've more or less given up on one.

I used to always read only one book at a time. I later realized that there are so many different genres to enjoy, why should I limit my self to just one at a time?? Currently I am reading three books. Now that I think of it, there may be even more since I sometimes get bored and but a book away on the shelf to return to at a later date.

I don't usually read more than one book at once, I do switch between my series though.

I normally read three or four at a time, but I'm getting a lot busier, so I think I'll have to limit to one or two at a time... Sigh. :D

Oh my, way to many! Right now I have 3 books on my Kindle that I am reading, 5 magazines and 2 hardcover books. It would take writing a book to describe them all. :-)

I prefer to read two at a time. Kind of keeps my mind going all day. Plus helps me with my multitasking :)

I have a habit of reading multiple books at once. Especially if one of the books I'm reading is one I don't like all that much. I'll be reading that one and maybe doing a couple pages every day and then I'll be going through other books at the same time and finishing them within a day or two. I do this a lot especially when I have books that I have a hard copy of, then some that I have online, and then some more that I have on my kindle. So I can be reading up to four or five books at a time. I usually like to keep it between two or three though!

I currently am in the middle of 5 (or more, I lose track) books. I keep different books in different places and pick them up when I get a few minutes to read. This weekend, I listened to 2 audio books (long road trip), and read in one paper book and two e-books. I don't mind having many stories going at once. I am also reading a book to my kids.

I think that for me, it is similar to watching several TV shows during a week. Many shows have at least a sub-plot that continues from week to week, I don't see how that is different from reading many books at a the same time. (Oh, and I am always misplacing my books, so I just pick up another one until the first shows up.)

I used to only read one book at a time, but nowadays I usually have two going at once. One stays in the car for work breaks or other times when I'll be waiting around, and the other stays at home.

I usually read two books at a time, one regular book, one on audio for my commute to work.
