I didn't care for it either. To my mind it was too soft and sweet considering what was going on at the time. I think the book might serve as an introduction to the era for a very young person, giving them a platform to read more realistic pictures of Nazi Germany. But to anyone that has read books on the same subject it will not come up to par. JMO

I have read this book about three times. I absolutely love this book. Fantastic! :)
