Rainbow Valley one of John Waynes early Lone Star films. Pretty good show. kind of crudely made but entertaining. Phony fight scenes. Gabby Hayes was his usual cool toothless old fart.

Ballerina, a documentary on the Russian Ballet.............excellent!....

The American, no plot, no acting, boring!.............one of the worst films that I've ever seen...( shame on Geo. Clooney, he must have needed the money BADLY )...

An old favorite, Man With The Golden Arm with Frank Sinatra. Good storyline, great performances by all, especially Sinatra and Elanor Parker as his nutso wife, super cool soundtrack music by Elmer Bernstein. The perfect movie.

Okay...saw it. The Interview. Watched it primarily like a person who would gawk at a train derailment. Overall, not as lame as I expected. There were some laugh-out-loud moments, actually. I prefer dry British humour, but for American humour...not bad. 6/10

I just saw the new hobbit movie.... What drove me crazy was one line at that end that implies that Aragorn is over 60 years old in the LOTR series. Slight mistake on the writers part because they are trying to tie too much stuff together.

Not to mention the stuff that they took creative liberties with...meh..I will just re-read the book.

The Promise; it was a pretty good film. We got from the library.

Thats what I thought. I only saw the first movie, but it added so much stuff that wasnt in the book, and it was confusing trying to keep track of everything. I dont understand how they could make three full-length movies from a 287 page book. Im not going to bother with the next two movies. Very disappointing.

I haven't read LOTR for a very long time but I am pretty sure that Aragorn is over 60 years old in the LOTR series (I'm not sure but I think he is about 87 or 88). Aragorn is a Dunadan of royal blood. The Dunadan live about three times as long as normal humans and can retain their youth right up until death, especially those with royal lineage. This explains his young looks.

I saw Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies. It was really good! Like the other movies before it, it is filled with action packed fighting scenes, and other awesome things. But the movie is also a tearjerker, at least for me, so be aware that you might be shedding a tear or two in the theater! I'm not going to give you spoilers, in fact I hate seeing them myself, but just be prepared for another awesome Hobbit movie.
