Does anyone read poetry? Stevenson a good choice.
Robert Louis Stevenson poetry make wonderful mind play for adults.
A Child's Garden of Verses by master poet and storyteller Robert Louis Stevenson; is a beautiful collection of sixty-six poems from sailing boats down a river, to waiting for the lamplighter, children read and imagination. Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894), wrote A Child's Garden of Verses, one of the best known and most beloved collections of children's poetry in the English language. Originally he wrote these poems for his children, while bedridden with tuberculosis. A must read for every family. (Remember Stevenson wrote many novels, including The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Kidnapped, The Black Arrow, and Treasure Island.)

I would like to go through all of Stevenson's work though. I've read Treasure Island before, a long time ago.
As for his poetry...
Look, the availability of poetry for the general public plays a large role in the number of poetry lovers there are today. Back then, when there was no teevee, no billion dollar companies to work for, no x-boxes, no Facebook, people used to read poetry a lot.
I'd say the only way to start people getting to like poetry again is for magazines, newspapers, tabloids, Facebook, cigarette companies, even the government, publish poetry so that thousands of untapped poetry lovers can be reached.
It's all about the availability. Poetry lovers are out there...

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
