My dingbat friend was here today. She always does something off-the-wall that tickles me.

It sounds like she has been drinking quite a few screwdrivers. LOL.Bighuey wrote:My dingbat friend again. She came here yesterday and said her new music player wouldnt work. Thats true, it wouldnt until I showed her the on and off switch. Then she was all upset because her orange trees were dying, the leaves all fell off. I told her of course they did, they do that every winter. She said oh. Shes a good soul, but has as much sense as a screwdriver.
Okay, so this is not going to be funny to anyone else but me... but...
Today I was teaching some 5-6 year old kids the phrase "brush your teeth" which is kind of hard for them to say, and they couldn't remember it. So when I showed the flash card for the tenth time, hoping they would finally get it (they didn't), this one brave kid just said it in Japanese, but he changed the stress/pronunciation so that it resembled how a foreigner might say it with an accent. Their regular teacher and I both almost fell out laughing.

Hahaha! That's awesome!!!Bighuey wrote:I can imagine it was funny to hear it. I said to a friend a while back in what I thought was fair Spanish would you like a fish taco. She started laughing and told me do you know what you said? You asked me if you could hit me with a fish. Back to the books.
Reminds me of the time I attempted to ask my coworker if he had gotten married, and instead I accidentally hit on him by the direct way I asked, "Hey, are you married?" I embarrassed him pretty bad. But at least I didn't ask him to hit me with a fish.
