The fate series has four books, the first one is called A Matter of Fate.
This is a dytopian series that i came to adore. I enjoyed this series so much i read it in a weekend.
A summary of the first book so there arent any spoilers:
The main character Chloe Lilywhite is a Magical, who attends highschool. She is destined for great things, a fact that she cannot stand. She wishes fate never touched her life, because what she craves more than anything is escape. She is a teen girl who wants to chose for herself. Since she was four, she has been sharing her dreams with a handsome boy jonah. They were best friends, they grew up together, shared their first kiss, the whole shabang. However, the book starts off with him in her math class after no dream sharing for a year. Also, Jonah has a twin Kellan. And it sparks a love triangle thats both passionate and frustrating (in the best of ways).
Ahh. This book. The whole series was very nicely paced, I loved how there was two focuses both the love triangle and the Elder problem (mysterious beings killing magicals). It was so real. I laughed and cried during these books. I felt apart of it, and Chloe is such a relatable and honest to goodness person, who goes through problems and heartache and to the outside world it seems she has life made but in reality thats not the case. Although throughout the series she has amazing character growth that was amazing to watch.
I highly recommend this series.
