Of course the most obvious, The notebook by Nicholas Sparks. Also, I cried and still have a hard time re-reading Lover Reborn by J.R. Ward. It is such a heartbreaking read that I don't want to put myself through that again, lol.

Does it count if we started crying out of self-pity for ourselves that we made the mistake of reading it? :animals-chickencatch:

On a serious note, I don't generally read romance novels, but there have been a few books I've read with a romance subplot that made me cry.
