Songs that break your heart/send you to that special place
Who knew a song could be so powerful.
Music is life as we know it...and books

So, what song breaks you up so bad that you can't function XD and what song takes you to that special place inside that's all warm and bubbly like?
P.S "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol is my special place.

Thanks! Its a quote from a tv show, as for the song you may not have heard of the name but if you heard the song on the radio it may sound familiar to you, they play it over here in Ireland constantly from november onwards.tsktsk wrote:I agree, real emotional song *nods*Fran wrote:Leonard Cohen's 'Halleluah' does it for me every time ... sob, sob

Cancer - My Chemical Romance
Final Transmission - Street Dogs
There are so many songs out there that move me, some to tears, but Cat's Cradle does it every time. You listen to it and it just makes you think about your Pops and where you are in life and if you're as close to your Dad as you should be, a truly amazing song.
I've known quite a few people who've lost to cancer and almost every time I hear this song I can't help but think "What if this were me".
Final Transmission is a song about a man who goes to Afghanistan and doesn't make it back. He puts a letter to his parents under his helmet, his "final transmission". It's heartbreaking to listen to sometimes.
When you're grateful to them for giving you the things you should already have anyway, ask yourself why."
