Review: Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond

Post by Manderin07 »

This book was a fascinating read about why some civilizations ended up with the "guns, germs, and steel" when others did not. Jared Diamond writes in a easy to understand, quick moving, and humorous style. He pulls from multiple fields of study to help you learn the case he is making.

In reading this book, he presented facts in a way that I literally felt like a light bulb was being turned on over my head, and I would be in a place that facts suddenly made so much sense to me. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in history or international relations, or if you just wish to educate yourself more.
