Re: Who is your favorite romance author?

I like Gena Showalter, JR Ward, and Larissa Ione. I came here looking for some different suggestions myself.
My friend just recommended a new book, Blue Dragonfly by Lilith Wes that's pretty good so far.
I like strong women characters that know what they want if anyone has any recommendations.

Nicholas Sparks is my favorite romance novelist. The Last Song, so far, is my favorite book of his. Although, I am reading The Longest Ride right now and I am really enjoying it. I am also reading a romance novel by Robyn Carr and it seems to be pretty good so far. I have a difficult time finding fun romance novels, which is why I mostly read Christian romances, but Nicholas Sparks is definitely one of my favorite authors.

I absolutely agree. Nicholas sparks is definitely one of my favorites as well. I love how he tells such beautiful love stories, and like you said, he always adds an unexpected twist. I just wish he would come out with a new books. I am reading The Longest Ride right now.

If you are into Christian fiction novels, then there is a series called the Love Finds You series that offers dozens of really great love stories. Some of my favorites are Love Finds You in Sun Valley Idaho, Valentine Nebraska, Sisters Oregon, Miracle Kentucky, Hope Kansas, and Golden New Mexico. There are many other outstanding books in this series as well. I enjoy this series because it offers some modern day books, historical books, and some of them have a little bit of mystery as well. What I like most though is that each book has a different author, so you are getting a different writing style and a different story line in each book.

I love Nicholas Sparks! I was hooked on him after the first book I read of hi (sorry I don't remember which one it was). He was someone I could go to for a feel good romance novel. Although, I might need to read some of the books recommend here as well.

I really like Lisa Kleypas. She does a lot of historical romance books, but she has quite a few contemporary romances as well. I have gotten into Abbi Glines recently. She's not my favorite, but she does have a lot of series, so she keeps me busy.

Right now I love Kristen Proby. She is a relatively new find for me. My normal must reads are Gena Showalter, Nora Roberts, Lindsay Sands and Lori Foster.

I have been meaning to read some Nora Roberts books, but I just haven't gotten around to it. If anyone has some suggestions of any particular books by her that are good, then I would love to hear them. Most of the time I look for books that doesn't have a lot of language. That's why I read Christian fiction novels most of the time Anyway, I would love to hear anyone's suggestions.

I love Nora Roberts. I have read almost every series of her's. I'm from the same area as her and I love reading books set in the town I live in.

For a long time my favorite romance author, of a none paranormal variety, was Beatrice Small - with Skye O'Malley being my very favorite. But over the years I have come to love Laurell K Hamilton and her Meredith Gentry series.

My favorite romance author... I'd have to say it's a three-way tie between Mary Jo Putney, Mary Balogh, and Jo Beverly.

I was never a fan of Romance until recently. I tried Nora Roberts, Danielle Steele, but I started C.J. Archer's historical romance series The Assassins Guild. It's a series of 4 books and I just loved the characters.

Lauraine Snelling is a good romance author. I am reading a novel of hers right now called Race For the Roses, and it seems to be pretty good so far. I have also read Brushstroke Legacy by her as well, and that is a good love story too. I would highly suggest that you check her out, especially if you are looking for a fun romance.

Currently, I would have to say Nicholas Sparks. I've read The Rescue and The Best of Me, and they are both very, very good books. I think he really knows how to tug at the reader's heart strings
