Scarlet Series by A.C. Gaughen

Really love this series! The first two books in this series are out, Scarlet and Lady Thief, the third book is about to come out this spring. It's a great series about Robin Hood and Maid Marion, but it's completely different and yet so beautifully done! Just LOVE it!

I just bought Scarlet the other day, and can't wait to get started on it. I have read Robin McKinley's Outlaws of Sherwood, and the original The Adventures of Robin Hood by J. Walker McSpadden. I will never get tired of the classic stealing from the rich to give to the poor, outlaw with a heart story. I'm excited to read another retelling, but from a woman's perspective!

This is such a great twist on Robin Hood and I really enjoyed the first two books. Can't wait to sit down and read the third!
