I wonder how hard it is to find Shiba dogs in America... I've never seen then before I came to Japan, but they look like such well-behaved dogs and make great pets.

I have an extremely fluffy, Australian shepherd. It looks like he's chubby, but according to the vet, he's not. We got him for my birthday from the Humane Society.

I have a yorkshire terrier, Kuma. He is 6 years now. I say I have, but my mum is his favorite hahahaha. Let's say he is the family dog. One of my mum's friend breeds them and she offered to give her one. I chose the chubbiest one I saw, he was so cute and fluffy, like a little bear (Kuma means bear in Japanese^^). The bad thing is that the rest of the people think they can insult Kuma just because he is small... I don't know how many times I've heard people calling him rat or saying he is not a real dog, it really enfuriates me! He is the cuttest thing ever! And he has a good caracter, he doesn't usually bark and he has never bitten anyone, though he should have scared a few¬¬. In my opinion all the dogs are cute in their own way, even the ugliest ones melt my heart, so I can't stand people who is against a dog breed just because... Sorry I get a bit emotional with this matter

I have a black lab mix. His name is Cooper! When we wento the shelter to get a dog we purposely picked the lab so we would have a giant awkward puppy-well our little mutt stopped growing at 40 pounds! So he's about half the size of a full grown lab, but he's the best dog ever!

I just saw this tiny Japanese woman attempting to tae her huge dog (some kind of furry terrier) for a walk, but that dog wasn't having anything to do with it and refused to move out of the shade.

I have 4 dogs, 3 are American Bullies and one is a St Benedict pitbull. I love love love my dogs. The 3 bullies were from my other dog, she had one litter and we kept them all, aside from one who fell ill. They are great with both of my children and I wouldn't trade them for the world!

Yep, I have a purebred English Springer Spaniel who is 13. I got her from a breeder when she was 1 year, 8 months old. The breeder had been breeding Echo for puppies but did not like Echo's puppies because Echo is plus-sized and so were here puppies, making them large and harder to sell. At that young age of 1 year and 8 months, Echo had already borne twenty puppies. (I had her spayed, of course.)
