I always have at least two books that I am reading at once - one fiction book (usually on the kindle app on my phone) and one for learning. Often, I also have another book or two that I am reading and have placed in various places throughout my house so that I can sneak a few minutes of reading whenever possible.

I always used to only read one book at a time. I thought it was distracting to have more than one going at once, but recently I finished one book and couldn't decide between two books that were next on my list, so I just started both! I guess it's really not much different than following several tv series. I also like to listen to books when I'm at work. Right now I have three books going.

I usually can only handle one book at a time. Anymore then that I tend to get confused on what I am reading. I'm the type of person that usually reads a whole book within a few days depending on how long it is, so it doesn't really take me long to start another one.

I only read one book at a time. I normally get really into the book I'm reading so it would be distracting or even confusing adding another book to that.

I always have two books going at the same time. I read my kindle over breakfast (and beyond) once I have done my morning walk, but I read a 'real' paper book in bed. When I was working, I used to read the kindle on the bus, because it was more convenient.

I usually read 3 at one time. I have read 4 at one time a few times. I usually have a mixture of hardback books and paperbacks and ebooks. It depends on what I have on my library shelf at the time and what book comes up in my system to be read next. :D

Before I got my kindle I would have books scattered all over. One in the car for work, one in the bathroom for bubble baths, one on the nightstand for before bed, and occasionally I'd have some in boxes or on my shelves that I half read then lost the book for a while and started another.

I tend to be in the middle of 3 books at any given time, although when I'm writing I limit it to one. I never get them confused or twisted, but sometimes I mistake a book I read for a movie I've seen. I'm sure that happens to a lot of people though LOL

I can't read more than one book at once, I feel like it detracts from each of them. I don't like it because I think it's best to just be reading one book and really get into it without distracting yourself with other ones. I think it's far more satisfying to finish one and then move to another one.

At least two, sometimes three, but usually not more. I kind of lose track of what's going on in each book (unless it's non-fiction) if I try to read too many at once.

I read 3-4 books at once. I travel to work by train and found that by reading 1 book at a time, I was going through my books to quickly. I also tend to get bored with 1 or 2 books.

I usually try to just read one and digest it thoroughly. Reading more than one for me becomes too distracting. I may not have yet developed this important skill.
