For me it depends on the weather and sometimes also the time of day. If its a horrible rainy afternoon, then a cup of coffee/tea is a must. If it is a sunny day, definitely a nice glass of iced sparkling water or cool beer. At night, it may even be a glass of wine (if it's the weekend) or if I'm reading in bed, it always has to be a nice Horlicks or Hot Chocolate!

I used to participate in the Barnes and Noble online forums. So many of the readers enjoyed drinking green tea that there was a topic started about favorite brands and flavors. I bought two that became favorites from that discussion. :)

I prefer an ice cold Coke over a hot drink any day.

It depends on the time of day. A hot coffee in the morning while reading, water or an ice-cold lemonade while sitting outside with a book, Chai tea in the evening. Anything goes well with a good book! Actually, all too often my hot drink gets cold because I'm concentrating on the book!

I'm definitely the same as all of you! I absolutely must have a hot beverage while reading my books. Usually I go for tea because I've already had my coffee and DEFINITELY don't need more! I find tea is very soothing and conducive to reading, but occasionally I like a hot chocolate as well :)

I honestly can't imagine reading without a hot beverage-- with the exception of a really hot day. Then I might go for some iced tea :) Yum! I'm making myself want all of the above!

I typically enjoy a nice cup of coffee alongside a bottle of water when I'm reading. This coupled with a porch swing makes for an enjoyable night after work.

I am an avid reader that chooses what I drink based on the time of day. If I read in the morning, my go to is coffee. In the middle of the day, I have sweet tea. If it is later in the day, I'll have coffee with a little bit of Bailey's.

Wow looking at everyone's responses I have found that everyone's are practically the same. For me I would have to say that either Earl Grey tea, green tea, or hot chocolate.

A good IPA or Irish Red Ale. I started making my own beer a couple years ago now, and supply not only my own reading but also my husband's poker night group.

Tonight the beverage of choice is Barq's Root Beer with a side of Hershey's almond kisses.
