At least two. When I get up to 7 or 8 I tell myself to focus and finish some.

Usually 4 or 5. Sometimes I get bored with a book and then need to pick it up later. I also have a book that I keep in my purse for downtime.

Why do I have 5 books going on all at once? It's insanity! But I love it!

Definitely more than one book at a time. Usually 2 books. It just depends on what mood I am in and what captures my attention. Generally I am reading one "classic" book and one that doesn't require me to think as much!

I can only read one at a time, I don't even like the fact that I an into 3 different series' that have more books to come.... I feel like once I start on the new ones it is going to take me a while to get back into it, or that I will try to mix in characters or events that happened in a different book.

Sometimes I get too eager to start another series while reading one at the time that I read two books at a time. Not saying that it works all the time but I love the idea of reading more than one book. When I get tired of one I can just switch and switch until I have finished both and really process what I have read.

Only one, I find it too confusing to read more than one at a time! Only if I had to read a book for college, then I have no other option, but when it comes to the books I choose I only read one.

normally I am a one at a time kind of girl. But curently I am reading one and listening to another. One is nonfiction the other fiction, so this helps keeping them separate.

Some times I will read two books at once, just depends on how good they are. I usually don't have a problem with keeping up with both story lines as long as I make sure to read them evenly. If I start to favor one and leave the other one sitting around for a couple of days then I can get confused. Then I have to start the other one over again to catch back up.

I usually read only one book at any one given time, but it has to be that I have at least 2 or 3 more in queue waiting to be read. As in I need to know that yes, I'm going to read so-and-so books after this one that i am reading now.

Well, if it is fiction books, then I have read all of it at once. I enjoy reading book from first page until the last page. That way, I can feel the atmosphere and the characters better. And usually, I was kind of entranced and can't even stop myself from continuing my reading, especially if the story is really good.
If it is non-fiction, I usually read some parts that interest me first, then continue the rest when I have the mood.

With the exception of when I was a student, I only read one book at a time. I usually get so engrossed in my books that I read them straight through in a couple of days. Then I move on to the next one!

I've got five books going on right now. I need them to keep me sane. I am drowning in words and I like it that way.

Lately, at least three at a time. Right now, four. Sometimes even five.
I never used to...one at a time was enough...but I've found out there are a lot of benefits in it for me.
