It is normally water, tea, or coffee. It can be a very big mistake to drink coffee. I will forget how much I have had and than cant sleep, on the plus side, those are the days I finish a book in one night!

My default beverage would be a nice sweet chocolate milkshake, however some nights I prefer a classic glass of wine.

[…and the red sun of desire and decision rose higher and higher, while upon a succession of balconies a succession of libertines, sparkling glass in hand, toasted the bliss of past and future nights.]

I agree it depends on the season! Hot chocolate for the winter and iced tea for the summer!

The beverage of choice depends on the book type. If it were a romance novel I would grab a warm cup of tea and curl up on my couch to read it. If it were a more serious book such as a biography/autobiography/spiritual guide book etc I would probably go for something more along the lines of ginger limeade. The flavours kick your brain into high gear allowing me to focus and actually be able to comprehend the subject of the book.

It all depends on how I am feeling for the day, I may not drink anything but water. I love juice as well. :D
