I'm the kind of person that has to have tea with everything. No matter the occasion. My stomach hurts, need some tea. Oh, your leg got cut off? Let me make you a cup of tea! It's already the afternoon and I need a caffeine boost, tea, tea, tea!

So, naturally, tea is my go to drink for reading a book. It's super relaxing. :)

Always coffee! With lots of cream. I can always tell how good a book is by how many times I am willing to get up to refill my coffee cup.

I don't typically eat or drink much while I am reading. An exception would be when reading a fun tawdry romance novel with a nice cocktail.

Depending on what type of book it is,
Tea with lemon or mint and stevia, hot or iced, for romance,
coffee, cream and sugar or cinnamon for mysteries or thrillers,
and of course a comfortable and well lit area, reading glasses on the side, in case.

I know I'm boring, but water. I'll drink and eat while I'm reading withoug noticing what is actually being put in my mouth, so I prefer to keep slightly healthy foods nearby whenever I start a good book.

Coffee or a big mug of hot chocolate! Love reading with a warm drink while it is cold, windy and wet outside.
