Book Review: It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han
(Warning: 5% review, 95% too much feels)
One of the most heart-breaking books of all time. It’s Not Summer Without You have a lot of heart constriction/lump in my throat/heartbreaking moments that you can’t help but cry and feel like, you, too have been through their struggles. Upto now, my heart starts to beat so loud everytime I wonder what happened to them. Jenny Han, why do you have to make your characters so real I want to snatch them inside the book and hug the life out of them?
I want to hug Laurel the most. And Jeremiah.
I’m living Conrad with you guys.
And sure enough, I am deeply rooting for Jeremiah. Period. I am in so much awe on how beautiful this book was written. It is true that heartbreak, and the worst pain you could ever feel is not all about your boyfriend breaking up with you and whatnot, it’s about losing someone. Knowing tomorrow and the rest of your life would be different without them. This book will make you realize that sometimes pain is the most soothing you could ever feel.
It’ll keep you moving forward.

This was a beautiful book and a wonderful series to read. I thought your feelings were well spoken. I felt the same way.

That was a wonderful read, from the beginning to the end. Jenny's books are always so sweet and tender, and it's no big deal if you cry all over the book while reading! True emotions should be given a vent

I loved Jenny Han's writing in this series, but it was also so heartbreaking to read. I cried through the series.

I agree 100% this book made me feel as if her characters were my best friends! All her books do this to me but this one really hooked me from the first page.

This is exactly how I felt after finishing Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. I was so sad to finish the book because there wasn't a sequel and I missed the characters! Thank you for sharing this about It's Not Summer Without You. I am sure I'll love this one too.
