A date with your favorite author or the United States Presid

Post by Cee-Jay Aurinko »

If you had to choose between a date with your favorite author or a date with the President of the United States, who would you choose?

If it was up to me, I'd definitely choose chilling it out with Obama. Sorry author, but you'd understand, wouldn't you?

I'd choose my favorite author. Heck, my least favorite author.

I like to think that my good friend Obama would understand. ;)

I think I'd have to go with Obama. Oh, the tales he could tell. And they wouldn't be fiction...

I honestly am not a fan of Obama, but if I did do lunch with him, I'd probably be overwhelmed by the power he exudes as president.

I couldn't have said it better. To be in the very same room as Obama? I mean... Come on.

I would definitely pick the President, no matter who it is and if I am a fan or not. I mean, it'd be the PRESIDENT!

Duh, my favorite author. However, my choice is nothing against President Obama. This question was simply A or B and nothing more.

Favorite author, to be sure. I probably wouldn't walk across the street to see the president. And that has nothing to do with any particular political persuasion. Substitute Bush (either one), Clinton, Reagan, Carter, Ford, etc., and I still wouldn't. Bunch of liars and thieves as far as I'm concerned. You can't get to that level in politics without lying, cheating, and making back room deals of which the average person with a conscience would be ashamed. The office deserves respect, but the people who occupy it rarely do. If people only knew.

Oops. Sorry for the rant. I'll get off my :angry-soapbox:

Absolutely hanging out with one of my favorite authors, I can't stand Obama. If it had been Bush I would have had to think about it.
