I believe the series is written by James Patterson, you would expect a lot from an author such as he is, but I was kind of dissapointed by the way he lets the main character constantly comment on everything. You constanly hear/read a voice over. Don't get me wrong, the story is great, very ingenious, but that's what I don't really like about the series. I still erad the entire series though so don't let me scare you off, it's well worth reading.

I've read the first two books of this series and loved them! The delivery of the lines is a little bit child friendly but overall, I think this is a series that people of any age would enjoy, at least based on the first 2 books.

You're in for a lot more! I think you will be quite surprised by the turn the story is going to take, in book 3,4 or 5, can't really remember, but I'd say keep reading on!

I haven't read any of the series, personally, but they must be pretty good because my daughter really loves them and says they are the "best books she has ever read". Also, I have read several of James Patterson's other books, and have never failed to be impressed with them.
