Rain

Post by Linaspjut »

The constant pitter patter dripping on my doorstep
Trapping me in
Never ceasing to release me from myself
My nightmares coming to life engulfing me in my everyday life
Yet You learn to love rain
It allows you to weep and sob
Without the world hearing you
The drops from the sky match some what seemlessly
With the drops from my bloodshot eyes

Very nice!

Thank you that means a whole lot. I hope that my poems will speak to people in a way that ordinary words cannot.

I like the description of the last two lines.

“there have been so many times
i have seen a man wanting to weep
but
instead
beat his heart until it was unconscious.
