Looking for spy books

Post by SarahEOlivier »

I've read a lot of books that are spy books, does anyone know where I can find more books about spies as the main characters?

Did you read Ken Follett's, Triple? That is a pretty good spy novel. Follett wrote a number of spy novels.

I review mystery books for a website and I recently read, enjoyed, and gave a strong review to "Dark Spies" by Matthew Dunn. It's a first rate modern spy thriller, not the older style dilettante spy sipping hot tea and meeting the Queen, either. It's quite adult in its action and violence, be warned, but a terrific book.

Daniel Silva writes spy books; most of his books are about Gabriel Allon, an Israeli spy.

Robert Ludlum also has some; I can't think of the names off the top of my head, but many of his books are great and are about spies/intelligence/counterintelligence.
