LuvBooks I do have a few dog movies that I turn on for them sometimes if I can't get away to get them out of the house. If there are lots of animal noises they will definitely sit and watch :0

My samoud never does that. All she wants to do it run around and play even though she's now 12 years old.

Yeah, I had to make them sit to get these pictures. They are usually running around and karate kicking the crap out of each other. I even saw one judo throw the other one one time....I'm pretty sure. The wrestle like crazy when I'm trying to read. Haha

The doggies are adorable. Suggested canine reading matter:

Nineteen Eighty Fur
A Tail of Two Cities
The Golden Bow-wow
Little Chows on the Prairie
Wuff-ering Heights

OMG, I have to comment on this: Little Chows on the Prairie. Great post!

I hate the TV show, Little House on the Prairie. Hate. But I loved it as a kid, and there was this one particular episode that was always a favorite. Ma and Pa travelled somewhere, and left Mary in charge. She was maybe 12 years old, Laura 10. Anyway, as best as I can remember, Mary went outside and saw a pack of dogs running toward the homestead. "The dogs are coming! The dogs are coming!" she yelled. She and Laura and Carrie ran into the barn, and the dogs started digging under the door! Then they climbed into the hayloft, and the dogs came in and started leaping up onto the hayloft! Meanwhile, their intrepid pet dog ran for help, so Mr. Garvey showed up at that moment and shot them all with his gun. BANG. "Rawrawru." BANG. "Rawrawru." BANG. "Rawrawru." BANG. "Rawrawru." Anyway, the hilarious thing about this episode is that all of those dogs had been recently groomed, and they didn't remotely look like wild dogs. They looked like Hollywood dogs.

Ha ha why do the dogs in your mind make the same noise as the ROUS'S from the Princess Bride when they're dying? Ha ha

I'm not sure if my dog reads, because she is a Puli that was born in Hungary and she has lived over here in Europe her whole life, although she will be coming back to America with us next year when we are able to move. So because of all this I'm not sure how much English she understands.

KitKat, we will be glad to have you in America, and I'm sure your Puli will do great with the language ;)

Oh believe me I will be very happy to be back in Amercia. We only live here right now because my husband is in the army and she understands my commands, so I think she'll pick up English pretty quick. :D

It's ok, here I was talking to you like you were a foreigner moving here and really you're just moving back. Reminds me of in the movies where the guy yells an introduction at the old person and then the old person is like, "Why are you yelling? I'm old I ain't deaf!"

Meg, tell us more about your dog. I want stories :)
