Flowers in the Attic by VC Andrews

The first time I started reading this book, I was unable to finish it and returned it to the library only half read. But it haunted me, so I went back and checked it out again. It's horrifying and extremely difficult to read at times. The movies don't even do this gook justice! As hard as it is to read, it's still extremely well written and is one of VC Andrews' best series. It's worth it to read all the books in the series to see where the characters all end up. I wouldn't recommend these books to someone who is easily spooked or prone to nightmares (as I am, actually. I have nightmares every time I read VC Andrews) but if you don't mind the nightmares or if you like good, scary novels, then there are for you.
