We were liars is a clever book. I would recommend it to almost anyone who is looking for a good read. This book is difficult to talk about, as almost everything is either a spoiler or won't do justice to the book. Although I will tell you this:
Cadence Sinclair is the teenage narrator of We Were Liars. she leads us on her journey along with family and friends.
Of course, I won't reveal the twists and turns of the plot, but I can say that when the secret at the heart of the book is finally revealed, it turns out to be more rough and shocking that it will leave you examining the whole story and wanting to re-read it.
