I once followed a butterfly across a busy street and ended up in my neighbors pool. My older brother was supposed to be watching me. My mom was not happy.

When I was four I tried to run away from home. I packed my suitcase full of my favorite stuffed animals and got as far as the end of driveway before I chickened out and went back in the house. Everyone was laughing at me.

lol I did the same when I was eight. After a silly argument with my mom, I ran away to my dad who worked across the street. He bought me a candy and sent me home.

When I was 7 we lived in a house that was next to the railroad tracks and I dont remember how it came about, but I went with some guys who repaired the tracks in a modified old Ford that could run on the tracks. I wasnt mad at my parents or anything like that, I just wanted to go on an adventure. I remember we went out of town for a few miles and stopped at some house and had a nice dinner then they took me back home. My parents had the police and neighbors out looking for me, they thought I had been kidnapped or murdered or something. My dad grabbed me and threw me in the car and said we are going to the police station and you will go to jail. He said they would chain me to a wall and feed me bread and water and rats would nibble on my toes. I howled and bawled but when we got there , we went in and Dad just told the cops I was found. I think one of them gave me some candy. I never ran off again that I remember. I dont think I got it with the wooden spoon that time, I was just grounded forever.

Wow... Bighuey! You make me feel like I got away with a lot. Could be because I was the last of four kids. My parents were exhausted by the time I came around.

My first word was my dad's first name. I refused to call him daddy until I was like 3 years old. It drove him nuts! My dad would call my mom, mommy in front of me and my mom would call my dad his first name.

Reminds me of when my sister got mad and said she was running away to my grandmother's. She packed some things, put her coat on, and then asked my mom to drive her there because she didn't know that way!
