I like to check out children's books to see what's available because I love to read with children. I love to hear their reactions to stories. I like that this book is written from both the child's and the animal's point of view. It seems like a very imaginative way to look at the situation. It does seem like a book that might be more meaningful when it is used as a starting point for a dialogue between a child and an adult about friendships, because it can be related to people friendships and animal friendships. I enjoyed your review because it contained a lot of useful information. I think this sounds like it would be a book that I would like to share with a child. Thanks for the informative review.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I found the difference in perspective to be a rather insightful narrative structure, and I agree that this book could be a good teaching tool for parents and teachers.
