That's a great idea! Not that exactly (though I'm sure it appeals to many people), but a "world literature" month. I would love that.

Great suggestion @joanofarc2015, if we choose historical fiction, I'll adjust the genre to incorporate those (ex. Thanksgiving, HIstorical, or Native American Fiction/Non-Fiction)

great suggestion about world literature genre, I can add that to next month's list as well. There are quite a wide range of books that could fit in that genre as well.

As this is the time for harvest (at least in the northern hemisphere), October and November are the times that many cultures celebrate some form of thanksgiving. It just seems natural to reflect on those historical stories that brought about those customs.
