I started off with Goosebumps and then as I got older I read the Fear Street books. I loved them. I'd actually love to get my hands on some and read them again!

I also started off with Goosebumps and moved on to Fear Street. I really enjoyed the Fear Street books and I think I might see if the library has some of them that I can borrow. :)

I was all about Goosebumps growing up! How do you feel about the movie being released in which Jack Black plays R.L. Stine?

Jack Black has always been hit-or-miss for me, so I will be neutral about it.

Goosebumps.. That brings me back to my childhood. As most people have said, Goosebumps got me to read as a child. I must have had every Goosebumps book. Anyone remember how some of the books you could choose how the story went? It would say if you'd like to do turn left (for example), turn to page 34. Those were so interesting to me as a child and I would reread the stories and pick different choices every time to see how it would turn out.
Not sure about the movie with Jack Black... is it suppose to be a comedy? I think I would be disappointed if it was since that was never how I saw Goosebumps.

That brings back some childhood memories. I used to love both reading and watching Goosebumps and the "choose your own adventure" was so much fun. My absolute favorite R.L. Stine though was his first adult novel titled "Superstitious".
