Good storyline...major flaws

I really enjoyed the story, however there were many typos and the biggest problem I had was there were so many days/months/years that were flash forwarded. I understand the author trying to keep it shorter however there were so many details that could've helped the book be a great book. A few more details and this could've easily been a 4/4.5 star book!

Hi, I've only just seen this comment today, and so the first thing I did was open the manuscript and whizz through the spell checker. However, there were no typos!. The only thing I can think of is maybe the difference between British and American English?
