Very nice review! It sounds like a cute little book, but I understand your misgivings. While I'm sure the book teaches some good lessons, presenting the different characters only as a representation of their respective cultures is too simplistic and can inadvertently teach children to stereotype others!

This sounds like a nice book, and I really like the cover :D Pretty good, especially compared with the ones from the other reviews about her books I read. My adult self agrees with you on your points. Tho I am still kind of amazed how much information and story the author managed to fill in just ten pages. I was surpized to read the bit about fire safety! Overall I'd say well done :D

Yeah it does pack a lot in such a short time, which was quite an impressive feat!
