The cover is certainly bringing lots of attention to the book, which is what I suppose they hoped for it. I still believe they could have done a better job with not making it so freaky.

The characters sound interesting especially the 'female cleric who can reach into people's minds to soothe and try to heal them from their troubles and injuries' I seldom read about a character like that. Except for the 'profanities' I think I'm going to love this book. Great review!
