Is it just me or is Crik free now?! I've really been looking forward to reading this book. Woohoo! :mrgreen:

I don't read a lot of books in this genre, but your review has me very intrigued....plus free on Amazon today? Off to get a copy! I think this book would be a great candidate for a Book of the Month discussion.

Hi all,

I want to thank each of you for the interest you've taken in my book Crik. It was a labour of love and as someone much wiser than I once said 'it grew in the telling'. Although I am busy working on the second novel looking under the undergrowth of the dark wood, I take a keen interest in Crik's reception. I look forward to hearing your opinions.

Apparently, my eyes skipped over the word 'macabre' in the review. That is a good description of many parts of the book. This book felt like a perfect blend of fantasy and horror. The world in Crik is rife with new creatures and concepts. There are still so many unknowns, the next story could go anywhere! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for it.
