I agree, Nora Roberts is good, but they are the same after a while (still read her but not as voraciously as i did in my teens and 20's). My coworkers got me into Sherrilyn Kenyon, but I got behind, this post reminds me I need to get back into things and catch up! Now if you are still looking for Historical and you enjoy Regency Romance I would suggest Julia Quinn. I absolutely love her Bridgerton series. She writes well and her characters are witty, charming, strong, and leave a lasting impression on you. Her love scenes are even tasteful (if there is such a thing lol). All of her books are interwined in some way and I love it when authors do that. I would suggest everyone check her out! (yes I'm a total fangirl)

I don't have just one favorite. Some of the ones in my library are:
1. Nora Roberts/J D Robb
2. Janet Chapman
3. Christine Feehan
4. Amanda Quick/Jane Ann Krentz/Jane Castle
5. Lindsey Sands
6. Stephanie Laurens
7. Julia Quinn

I enjoy all different sub genres in romance. Futuristic, time travel, fantasy, historical, and modern day.

I love Kristen Ashley's books. I like to read romance series, that expands on each character. That is exactly what this author does, and her books have unique content and are not the same old plot lines.

Karen Marie Moning all the way!

I love that her stories aren't just sex, you know? They have actual stories to them and the writing is honestly some of the best I've found in romance/erotica novels.

I also like Sarah Dessen and Nicholas Sparks as far as non-erotica Romance goes (:

Hey there! One of my favorite Historical Romances is called The Moon Below by Barbara Bickmore. Honestly, it had me up for two days straight--I couldn't put it down!

My favorites are Debbie Macomber, Nora Robert, Sherrilyn Kenyon and Christine Feehan. I also have several others, too many to list. I read most any authors and decide from there if i like them or not.

Right now, my favorite romance author is Colleen Hoover. I enjoy the detail she gives to a situation. Her words become so vivid in the readers mind. Sometimes, I have to reread her words in amazement.

I have recently been reading a lot of Alexa Riley's books. She writes erotic romances that are typically about larger women who actually are NOT ashamed of their bodies (ya!). The last book that I read was titled 'Curvy' and it was a quick, fun read.

That is awesome, Redsonia, that she recognizes 'Curvy' women and write about them. Everyone should be represented in the fiction world.
