Latest Review: "The Saltwater Ghost" by Shiela Jane

The Host by Stephenie Meyer

Post by BookSavvy90 »

Not gonna lie I bought this book mainly because it was written by Stephenie Meyer, but I'm glad I did. It was a really interesting read. It does a good job of introducing young readers to alien related sci-fi, and really gets you thinking. Like The X-Files before it gets the question 'Are we alone?' running through the head of the reader. I'd like to believe we are not, and that is mostly thanks to this book (not to mention my crazy alien fanatic daddy). Considering Stephenie Meyer is mainly known for the Twilight Saga this book is like a breath of fresh air. It's like a nice vacation from the world of vampires and werewolves. Well, a nice, kind of crazy, vacation.

Ten out of ten would read again. :)
