I love So many authors: Suzanne Collins, Kiera Cass, Cassandra Clare, jk Rowling, James dashner and so many more but if I were to choose just one it would have to be John Green because of his writing style. He always puts some sort of message into his books and his books always have me in tears then from tears to laughter in a matter of minutes. He can really control how his stories are portrayed an that is a trait I admire. Therefore my favourite YA author would have to be John Green.

So far it is a tie between Cassandra Clare and Marissa Meyer. Both are really talented authors and I can't wait to read their books that are coming up this year.

My very favorite YA author is Ally Carter! She wrote the Gallagher Girls Series which is one of my most favorite series and if you like spies in training you would love it too! Then she wrote the Heist Society Series which is also very good and about a young thief. Her books are fun to read! Also they are beautifully written with both suspense and as much relatability as a teenage thief or spy can have!

My favourite YA author is Veronica Roth because I've read a lot of books and Divergent is by far my favourite. I like it because I really understand and identify well with Tris, her fears are realistic and relatable. It is also cool that the romance in the book is natural, it's not one of those relationships you know could only happen in a romance. I think the faction concept was really exciting and worked well. I thought the book was well written and gave a really clear insight in to Tris's thoughts. Generally, I love this book. I would definitely recommend it. I could write heaps more, but I can't on this forum because you can't have spoilers and this is a book that is so easy to spoil. I wish Veronica Roth would release more books.

My favorite YA author changes weekly. It all depends on what I'm reading. I just reading the Selection Series by Kiera Cass (up to the most recently published book). I think she has a way with words that really connects to teenage girls. Definitely an author to watch for new books coming out!

My favourite YA author is Rainbow Rowell, Fangirl and Eleanor and Park were so well written. Now I've just started Carry On and am very excited to see where this book goes and what she does with her future writings.

My favorite YA author has always been Jenny Han, and her Summer series. That fine and warm read a couple of years ago is still bringing back good memories!

Without a doubt my favorite YA author would be Christopher Paolini. He wrote the Eragon series. I thought it was a little more advanced than Harry Potter, but it still had the same excitement to it. If you like lord of the rings and Harry Potter, then this series is worth it.

Charles de Lint. He masterfully crafts great stories. He predominantly writes fantasy but he's been at it for so many years you could probably find something outside that genre. I really liked his book The Mystery of Grace.

I absolutely adore Jamie Mcgurie. I started with her Beautiful series which was recommended by a friend and then read her Red Hill and Happenstance series. I can't get enough. If she ever starts writing I don't know what i'd do.
