I like the way you outlined the plot of all the short stories. The are ones that sound really interesting and I would absolutely read this book. Overall a wonderful, "crisp" review of a heavy packed short story collection, Ananya92. What would you say was your favorite of the thirteen?

Thanks Leon! :)
I think it's really difficult to choose one, since all of them were so impressive, but if I have to choose one, then it'll be a tie between A Deathly Act of Kindness and Hell to Pay.

Nice review! The collection sounds unique and interesting. I like that you commented that one of the stories reminded you of Agatha Christie' s work - great endorsement. :)

Congrats to the author for being a semi-finalist for a literary award!

Thank you bookowlie. Unfortunately I didn't make the finals, but I'm very proud of the book and I'm glad for the wonderful review (thanks again ananya92) and for everyone who has taken the time to read it. I'm humbled.

I love a good collection of short stories. Adding this to my "want to read" shelf.
