I usually only read one book at a time, but I have on occasion, found another book that I simply cannot wait to read. I'll start reading the new book even though I'm in the middle of another one. It's rare, but it does happen. ~KK :D

I normally read one at a time, but here lately I've been reading two at a time since the Game of Thrones series takes a few days to read. So I read a few chapters of it during the day and read a few chapters of a much smaller book at night.

I usually have two going at the same time. One physical book and one on my nook. I do try to make sure they are different genres so I don't get confused!

I can honestly say that I can only read one book at a time because I get too involved to focus on more than one at a time!

One or two at most. Beyond that it gets too confusing.

Lately, I have been 'reading' 3-4 books at once. But, really I just start 3-4 books around the same time, then I start focusing on one at a time.

I am dividing my time among five books. These books vary in genres, so I am always in the mood to read a few chapters of one! The atmosphere of the books are so different that I have little trouble with switching among the storylines.

I usually read two books at once (except school work). I like them to be very different from each other.

I think I have read as many as two books at a time. Usually this happens when I have already started one book, and then I find another one that really grabs my attention and I can't wait to start it.
I have also read more than one book at a time if I am in a situation where I have my tablet with me and can read for a while, but didn't bring my hard copy book with me.

1- it's easier for me to get involved with the story, characters, and remember details in one book then switching between a few.

I find it hard sometimes to read many books at once. When it comes to books I do it like Netflix. All at once because I get so engrossed with the story line and the characters. I have read 2 books at one time and didn't have much issue, I was just too excited on which one to read first and went for it at the same time.
