I finished Margaret Szabo's book "The Door" so I'm getting to the goal. I want to read this one again.

I always set my goal low, I read a lot but never want to put a number on it... last year I went with 50 and ended with over 100 :)

My goal is really small (12 this year) because I have 2 boys ages 18 months and 4 years, so they keep me busy during the day and then by the time it gets to be bed time I am exhausted. I try to get a little reading in either during the day or in the evening just to relax. So far I have 4 done! :D

I have a few reading goals for this year. Being a teacher, one of my goals is student oriented. My first goal is to get at least three new students "hooked" into reading. My second goal is to read the entire list of the 2016-2017 SC Jr. Nominee books. This is the summer reading to choose from for the students and I like to read them all. Finally, I want to read more out of my niche that I seem to get into. Recomendations of anything out of fantasty and young adult are welcomed!

My goal this year is 100. So far I've read 15, and I'm currently reading several! This is the first time I've ever kept track of how many books I'm reading as well as what I'm reading. I'm excited to see how many books I do actual read!

I haven't kept track of how many books I read in a long time. I remember setting a goal in 8th grade. I wanted to read 45 books that year. Haha. Obviously I didn't know myself. I ended up doubling that number, not even recounting books I reread.

I have never set a reading goal for myself but it seems like a great idea. I think that this is something I would love to try. I know that we are now 3 months into 2016 but I think that I am still going to try this out. I am a very fast reader but since I work full time, volunteer at my church and will be going back to school so I'll set my sights lower this time around.

I think that I will start off with 50 books for the rest of the year. I'll be starting off with The Story.

I've set my reading goal low for 2016 (I've totally psyched myself out on word count goals latley and enjoy reading, and don't want to stress myself about it!) And plan to update/increase it as its met. I'd love to set a high goal, but I think writting down a number I don't know if I'll meet will find me stressing more and enjoying the reading less. Maybe I'll learn to embrace the goal setting, or maybe I'll just wait until the year ends to see what has happened without an "I wish!" benchmarker.

So far I'm accomplishing my "hit the tens" side goal. If I can keep this up my goal of 80 books will be done early :)

I think I am going to set my goal small, and hopefully surpass. I have 2 small kids, so I don't quite think I will make it to 100 (although I may), but I am going to set it at 50!

My goal is 25 for 2016! I hope I'll do that. How many time you devote to reading if your goal 80 or more???
